I've had this 1.6 16V sidekick motor in the shed for long enough, it's now time to have a bit of fun with it. A complete disasembly and rebuild is mandatory. I usually beadblast every component before clear coating them. This time I was just too lazy to go through the hassle of blasting the whole block so I painted it after I got it out of the cleaning bath. Fresh 75.5mm overbore, forged pistons, ARP studs, block decking, new water pump, new everything. Crank was balanced and trued within precise tolerances, rods weighed and balanced. Nothing forged in there as I'm trying to set a new world record for the rod throw. 250hp, 20 psi should do the trick
